and Desktop Wallpaper
I have added these two wonderful images of Diana Darvey to the Diana Darvey Tribute I put together for her. I got these lovely shots of Diana from the second DVD set. I have also put together this wonderful Diana Darvey desktop wallpaper for your computer. This is best for computers with a resolution of 1024 X 768 or 17" monitors.
You will find full size versions of these lovely pics of our Penny in the Angel in The Spotlight page I put together for her. Penny passed these onto the Benny Hill's Hotel Splendide ezboard I put together.
I have once again added more info to the Syndicated Episode Guide for the syndicated Series of The Benny Hill Show. I now have details for every episode up to No. 80. Thanks again to William Brown.
Looks as though one of the Hill's Angels is stepping into the political arena. Cherri Gilham is challenging Tony Blair for his seat at the general election because she felt powerless in her opposition to the war in Iraq. I have reproduced the article below. Again, this appears to be a tabloid story, so take it with a grain of salt.

Actress stands against PM
By Pippa Crerar
A FORMER Page Three girl and soft porn actress is to challenge Tony Blair for his seat at the general election. Cherri Gilham, 60, was one of the Hill's Angels on the Benny Hill Show in the 1970s. She said she had decided to stand against the Prime Minister because she felt powerless in her opposition to the war in Iraq. The actress, who has had flings with Sylvester Stallone and Omar Sharif, has no experience of politics but believes she understands what makes people tick. She was in 1970s movies Confessions Of A Sex Maniac, Girls Come First and The Stud. She also claims to have been present when John Lennon had his first experience of smoking dope. She revealed that it wasn't Bob Dylan who introduced the Beatle to cannabis, but friends of hers at a party in London in 1964. Gilham, who lives in Wandsworth, south London, wants to change her name by deed poll to Cherri Blair Out Gilham. She also plans to visit the Prime Minister's Sedgefield constituency in County Durham later this month to win support for her anti-Blair campaign. She said: 'I feel worried that Bush will lead Blair into a war with Iran and that it will end in nuclear war.' John Burton, constituency agent for the Prime Minister, said: 'Anyone is entitled to stand for election but I am sure the people of the Sedgefield constituency are happy with their MP.' Benny Hill's Hotel Splendide ezboard
If you would like to talk to Former Hill's Angel Penny Kendall you can do so by leaving a message for her in my new ezboard, Benny Hill's Hotel Splendide ezboard. You do have to register before you can leave a message or question for Penny there. Hopefully, other Hill's Angels may consent to communicating with fans in this way in the future. Please post appropriate messages only as I will delete anything inappropriate. Penny is gracious enough to take the time to communicate with us, so let's make this fun for everyone! This is also a group where more discussions about Benny Hill and Hill's Angels can take place.
Episode Guide Update
I have once again added more info to the Syndicated Episode Guide for the syndicated Series of The Benny Hill Show. I now have details for every episode up to No. 40. Thanks again to William Brown.
I have now added a special new home page and look for the whole site. I have had a few problems getting it up and running smoothly, but everything should be OK now. This revamp would have been beyond me without my wife Draceena's special eye for detail and finding "the way to make it all happen". Please feel free to drop a line if you notice anything out of place. And now for the news...
All New!
Diana Darvey Tribute
I have now added an obituary to my Diana Darvey Tribute page, which was sent to me by Bob Jackson. This was originally posted in one of the Yahoo! Groups by Erik Larsen and I have placed it on the tribute page for Diana. I hope there are no objections to my posting this obituary. Please let me know if I am in error in doing so.
William Brown continues to add more info to The Syndicated Series Episode Guide. I now have details for every episode up to No. 26. You can take a look at the most recent additions in the Syndicated Series Episode Guide
Episode Guide contributions
William Brown continues to add new info to the Syndicated Series Episode Guide I have here on the site. He's also very good at pointing out the names of numerous cast members. I am going to add some cast pages to the site with the names of several cast members in a while. It will be updated regularly so check back from time to time for new additions. For now, you can take a look at Episode Guide for Williams new additions.
There is now a play by Thomas Amo called "Blimey".
I just received an email a short while ago from Thomas Amo, webmaster of the former wesite, "Kindest Regards, Louise English" that he now has a stage production running until Nov. 20 which features a salute to Benny and the Angels. He is also still working on his book about Benny. Here's a peak at some of the cast. The photos are copywritten, so please do not copy them.

Benny's Girls: in the back Brooke, Nell, Jeanine in the front with glasses, Amber and next to her Chelana.
Here is a brief description of "Blimey":
The play "Blimey" is written by Thomas Amo, starring Thomas as Benny. The story centers around a guy who is so shy and not very adept with girls. He decides to take on Benny Hill's personality and showbiz side and soon he's the center of attention and everyone loves him and getting to become Benny allows him to find the confidence it takes to just be himself.
All New Entrance page for Benny's Place
I have come up with a new look for the home page in the hopes that it will make downloading it faster and so that it would have a snappier look. You'll also notice I have added a scroll-bar effect for the content throughout the site. Feel free to give me feedback and let me know if there are any problems.
To conserve space and save on bandwidth, I have taken the liberty of dividing the updated Site Map pages into several pages. This organizes the updates in a way that makes it easier to find information for a specific time. Archive 1 contains the earliest updates.
